Booking Your Session

To secure your mini photoshoot, you’ll select your preferred date through my online booking system. After selecting your date, check your email for a contract to fill out and instructions to pay the session fee. Once these steps are completed, I’ll take care of the details to ensure an amazing experience. I’ll stay in touch at all the right moments and provide a “What To Wear” guide tailored for families, couples, and pet owners to help you feel fully prepared. Have questions before your session? Session Preparation

A few days before your scheduled session, I’ll send a confirmation email with our agreed-upon time and location. This is also when we’ll discuss any weather concerns and confirm your availability for both the primary date and a backup rain date (no additional makeup dates are guaranteed). On the day of your session, please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure a relaxed start. Your session time marks when we begin shooting, so punctuality helps us make the most of our time together.

What to Expect During Your Session

Mini photoshoots last approximately 15 minutes and are designed to be quick, easy, and fun! Whether you’re a family, a couple, or bringing along your pet, my goal is to make the experience enjoyable and stress-free. I’ll guide you with prompts and poses to capture natural moments while ensuring everyone feels comfortable and confident. For families, the focus will be on whole-family shots, sibling moments, and a few individual child portraits. For couples, we’ll capture your connection through candid and playful interactions, with a few classic portraits if desired. If pets are joining, I’ll ensure they’re included in group shots and may sneak in a few adorable pet-only moments!

While I aim to get a few traditional group shots with everyone smiling at the camera, most of the session will focus on “playing” rather than overly posed moments. For pets, I’ll work with their energy—whether they’re bounding with excitement or lounging calmly—to capture their personality. The key is to relax and have fun! These sessions aren’t about perfect smiles, flawless poses, or impeccably behaved kids or pets. They’re about capturing your unique bond, just as you are.

After Your Session

Within one week of your session, you’ll receive an email with a link to your private online gallery containing all your fully-edited images. You’ll be able to select your five favorite images for immediate download. Want more? You can purchase additional digital images, prints, or other products directly through the gallery. Your gallery will remain active for one month, giving you ample time to choose your favorites and make any additional purchases.

Tips for a Great Session

• For Families: Encourage kids to be themselves—whether they’re giggling, exploring, or being a little silly. These moments make for the most heartfelt photos.

• For Couples: Focus on your connection—share a laugh, a glance, or a quiet moment. I’ll guide you with poses to highlight the love that makes your relationship unique.

• For Pets: Bring a favorite toy or treat to keep them engaged, but don’t worry if they’re a bit unpredictable—their quirks make the photos special! Please ensure pets are leashed or well-behaved as needed for the location.

• For Everyone: Wear comfortable, coordinated outfits (my “What To Wear” guide will help!). Most importantly, let go of perfection and enjoy the moment.
