Rachael and Brady’s Wedding Mountain Wedding at Serenity Ridge

Rachael and Brady’s love story kicked off in the most unexpected way—on a bumpy college bus ride during their freshman year. Brady caught sight of Rachael amidst the chaos, later admitting she was the only “normal” face he could spot, and plopped down next to her. They clicked right away, chatting like old friends, and in a sweet, bold move, he hopped off a stop early just to snag her number. That little moment was the start of something special.

Their proposal? Pure magic, and a total surprise. It happened during a Thanksgiving trip to Rachael’s grandparents in Wilmington. The three of them—Rachael, Brady, and her friend Sarah—were strolling along the beach, the salty breeze in the air, when another couple’s over-the-top proposal stole the show nearby. Rachael laughed and said she wanted to watch, not knowing Sarah and Brady had a plan up their sleeve. With a playful shove and a grin, Brady stepped back, then dropped to one knee on that sandy shore. Rachael froze, tears welling up, before whispering yes—a messy, beautiful moment that felt so them.

Their wedding day at Serenity Ridge was something else. The morning had been rainy, but just as they stepped out for the ceremony, the clouds parted, revealing a breathtaking view. Standing there, hands clasped, they exchanged vows with the fresh, crisp air around them. Later, under the pavilion, the night came alive with laughter, dancing, and love, with Rachael’s pick of blue—soft yet vibrant—adding a personal touch to every detail.

They stayed in a yurt that their bridal party had decorated, and oh, it was so sweet—filled with little touches that showed how much everyone cared. For Rachael and Brady, it was all about the vows, that first dance, and the way they looked at each other like the world began and ended with them. It was the start of their forever, wrapped in love and those breathtaking mountain views.
